Seamless Press Experience at GDC

Zen Studios, a Hungarian developer known for titles like Pinball FX and Zen Pinball, partnered with UberStrategist ahead of GDC to support behind-closed-doors media meetings for Pinball FX VR. The new VR version of their flagship franchise brings a nostalgic arcade experience to life in a fully immersive format.

Their goal was to showcase the game to the media in a comfortable, distraction-free space near the Moscone Center while boosting visibility through scheduled press meetings. UberStrategist handled hospitality suite logistics, staffing, and pre-event appointment booking.

We offered Zen Studios a turnkey hospitality suite package at The Clancy Hotel, just a short walk from the main GDC venue. The suite provided overnight accommodations for staff and a welcoming, professional space for media demos.

We outfitted the room with a high-quality monitor, light snacks, coffee, and beverages to support an optimal meeting environment. We also supported press appointment booking and assigned an onsite UberStrategist team member to assist with meetings.

Zen Studios was highly satisfied with the suite’s setup, mentioning that it was the ideal environment for press demos. They appreciated the attention to detail, from the catered refreshments to the dedicated on-site support, which helped create a welcoming and well-managed experience for guests.

The campaign ultimately achieved what Zen Studios was looking for: a polished, comfortable space to present their game and hold productive conversations at GDC. The suite offered a professional presence just steps from the show floor and left a strong impression on both the client and their guests.
