Challenges & Goals

Modiphius Entertainment partnered with UberStrategist to run an organic influencer campaign for Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20, a World War II–themed role-playing game infused with the Cthulhu mythos.

The goal was to raise visibility and excitement for the new release while reaching player communities active in tabletop role-playing content. By focusing on organic influencer engagement, the campaign aimed to connect the game with authentic voices and spark interest ahead of launch.

Strategic Approach

Our strategy centered on reaching highly engaged tabletop communities through influencers who already created RPG-focused content. We focused on micro and mid-tier YouTubers and Twitch creators with active audiences that value authenticity and depth.

To maximize impact, we selected creators who specialized in “Actual Play” and review content. We provided them with physical copies of the Player’s Guide and DM Guide so they could explore the material in depth and create engaging, informed content.

Results

The influencer campaign garnered broad visibility in tabletop communities with over 55,000 impressions across YouTube and Twitch. Content creators produced play sessions and reviews that highlighted the mechanics and atmosphere, showing the game in action for dedicated fans.

This organic support gave Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 a strong launch presence in the RPG community. By partnering with trusted voices, the campaign sparked interest and enthusiasm among audiences most likely to engage with and purchase the title.
