Challenges & Goals

Alchemy Stars, a gacha mobile game published under Tencent’s Level Infinite label, wanted to celebrate its one-year anniversary with a Vtuber creator challenge. The goal was to engage the game’s dedicated community by partnering with popular Vtubers on Twitch.

Level Infinite tasked UberStrategist with identifying high-impact Vtuber creators and organizing an in-game competition that would reward their audiences with in-game currency to generate excitement and boost player engagement.

Strategic Approach

Our team identified and secured partnerships with highly engaged Vtubers on Twitch who aligned with Alchemy Stars’ audience. We developed a competitive in-game challenge where creators faced off in battles, driving excitement and engagement during the livestreams.

To maximize visibility, we coordinated streaming schedules, audience rewards, and social media promotions, ensuring the event’s success both live and in VoD formats.

Results

The Vtuber challenge exceeded expectations, generating over 5 million impressions. The livestreams accumulated over 16 million total minutes watched on Twitch, and VoD views extended the event’s reach beyond the live streams.

Level Infinite was thrilled with the results, as the campaign successfully engaged Alchemy Stars’ community. The Vtuber challenge generated excitement for the one-year anniversary, energizing current players and attracting new ones to the game.
