Challenges & Goals

The Glass Cannon Network partnered with UberStrategist to support PR for the launch of its new Shadowdark campaign and the announcement of its rebranded Call of Cthulhu Live! tour. Known for its tabletop actual-play content and live performances, Glass Cannon Network had built a strong word-of-mouth following but wanted additional mainstream media exposure.

The three-month campaign focused on generating momentum around the tour announcement, securing high-quality earned media coverage, and establishing a stronger PR foundation for future initiatives.

Strategic Approach

We positioned The Glass Cannon Network as a leading independent actual-play brand through targeted messaging and earned media outreach. We centered the campaign around the Call of Cthulhu Live tour announcement and highlighted the network’s partnership with Chaosium and expanding creative ambitions.

After the initial tour announcement, we pivoted toward brand-building interviews and feature opportunities to sustain momentum and expand visibility throughout the engagement. We also facilitated introductions to notable TTRPG dice creator Sirius Dice and the management team of music artist and content creator T-Pain for potential future collaborations.

Results

Throughout the campaign, we secured 21 pieces of coverage and generated an estimated 86 million impressions. This included interviews with GameSpot, ComicBook, Wargamer, and TechRaptor, which expanded visibility beyond the core tabletop audience.

As a result, the Glass Cannon Network secured more Tier 1 press and interview coverage than it had previously achieved, and the team was particularly impressed by both the quantity and the quality of the outlets secured. The strong response to our outreach established broader brand awareness and reinforced Glass Cannon Network’s growing presence in the tabletop entertainment space.
