Challenges & Goals

NC America, a leading global publisher of MMORPGs, asked UberStrategist to support its booth at gamescom 2025. The showcase featured titles including Project LLL, Time Takers, Blade & Soul Heroes, Band of Crusaders, Aion 2, Guild Wars: Visions of Eternity, and Limit Zero Breakers.

NC America was looking for influencer attendance for both its VIP showcase and hands-on demos. With only three weeks to prepare and a campaign focused on organic participation without paid activations, securing firm commitments was expected to be difficult.

Strategic Approach

We positioned the gamescom showcase as a valuable opportunity for influencers to gain VIP access and hands-on time with NC America’s upcoming MMORPGs and shooters. Messaging highlighted the scale of the portfolio and the exclusivity of the demos.

Our team reached out to 43 talent agencies and more than 1,800 independent influencers. As expected, we experienced challenges with booked schedules and interest in paid activations. Persistent outreach, reminders, and flexible scheduling helped secure steady bookings despite these constraints.

Results

The campaign secured 69 influencer bookings across the showcase, demos, and interviews, which was more than double the client’s internal goal of 30. Final attendance reached 40 (58 percent), a strong showing given the three-week timeline and absence of paid activations.

Notable attendees included Jacob Luksan (Jake Lucky) of Gaming World Media, whose participation was called out by the client as a key success. 

By exceeding booking goals and attracting respected talent, the campaign delivered on every measure. As a result, NC America was able to connect with key influencers at gamescom and begin building valuable relationships for the future.
