Community Growth in Western Markets

Challenges & Goals
Level Infinite, Tencent’s global publishing brand, partnered with UberStrategist and Chinese marketing agency MeetSocial to manage English-language community and social media operations for the open-world RPG Chimeraland. The goal was to create a strong community presence from beta through global launch.
UberStrategist was tasked with full-service community management and copywriting for all Western channels. This included overseeing social platforms, engaging with players, and ensuring all communication reflected the brand’s voice and tone.
Strategic Approach
Working in collaboration with MeetSocial, our team led community operations and content creation across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. We developed and published more than 70 posts per month, striking a balance between promotional and community-focused messaging to drive engagement and retention.
On Discord, Chimeraland’s largest community hub, we managed the server end-to-end. We created and organized channels, implemented bots and roles, hosted an average of four community events per month, and maintained consistent moderation. We also supported crisis communications and produced monthly performance and sentiment reports to inform ongoing strategy.
Results
Our combined efforts contributed to the growth of the Chimeraland Discord community, adding more than 10,000 new members. We addressed an average of 45 community messages per day while maintaining a welcoming and well-moderated environment.
Our social media efforts established a unified and consistent voice across all Western platforms and kept players engaged from pre-release to post-launch. The campaign established lasting momentum for Chimeraland’s social channels and positioned the community for continued expansion across Western markets.
