Challenges & Goals
Knights Peak, the publishing label of MY.GAMES, partnered with UberStrategist for ongoing North American PR support across a diverse portfolio of titles. The engagement involved many games, including Hela, Mandragora, Nikoderiko: The Magical World, and Starship Troopers: Extermination.
The goal was to generate consistent visibility for multiple games at different stages, from announcements and previews to full launches. Over a six-month campaign, UberStrategist supported Knights Peak in building stronger media traction in the U.S. and Canada while also helping raise the publisher’s profile across major gaming outlets.
Strategic Approach
UberStrategist focused on developing a deep understanding of each title and helping shape clear communications beats tailored to different audiences and release moments. We worked closely with the publisher to strengthen launch planning, post-launch support, and ongoing messaging across a fast-moving slate of announcements and updates.
Our team wrote and distributed press materials, maintained targeted pitch lists by title, and pursued interview, preview, and review opportunities with North American media. We also supported showcase placements and remained responsive to shifting timelines, including rapid turnaround requests and pivots to renew media interest when needed.
Results
Across the portfolio, the campaign achieved an estimated combined reach of over 8.6 billion, including coverage from major outlets such as IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, GamesRadar+, Nintendo Life, Rock Paper Shotgun, and DualShockers.
UberStrategist supported successful launches for Mandragora and Nikoderiko, including reviews with Metacritic-ranked publications. We also helped increase visibility for upcoming titles like Hela through North American preview outreach ahead of gamescom, where it won awards for Most Entertaining Game and Most Wholesome Game.
Overall, our campaign helped Knights Peak maintain steady visibility across multiple titles and reinforced its growing presence as a publisher in the North American market.
