Challenges & Goals

Voicemod, the leading PC-based voice modulation and “sonic identity” tool, enlisted UberStrategist for a high-impact, quick-start campaign to launch Voicemod Clips, a free mobile app designed for content creation on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.

Our goal was to generate buzz for the app’s debut while also promoting a content creation contest in partnership with iconic hip-hop artist T-Pain. The campaign had to secure widespread media coverage across mobile, tech, lifestyle, and gaming outlets to expand Voicemod’s audience beyond PC users.

Strategic Approach

We broke the news with an exclusive feature on The Verge to provide maximum visibility for the app launch. Our outreach targeted mobile-centric, lifestyle, tech, and gaming media, positioning Voicemod Clips as a must-have tool for creative expression.

To further amplify engagement, we promoted the T-Pain content creation contest, encouraging users to showcase their creativity using Voicemod Clips. This initiative helped drive awareness across social media while reinforcing Voicemod’s leadership in the “sonic identity” space.

Results

Our campaign secured dozens of media placements within the first week to generate broad awareness across key verticals. Major outlets such as MSN, Mental Floss, WCCFTech, Xataka, iPhone Hacks, and Lifehacker covered the launch, enabling us to reach a diverse and engaged audience.

By expanding Voicemod’s media presence beyond PC users, we positioned the brand as a thought leader in voice modulation. The campaign introduced Voicemod Clips to a global audience and strengthened Voicemod’s influence in the growing content creation landscape.
