Challenges & Goals

Bossa Studios engaged UberStrategist to support Surgeon Simulator 2, a tongue-in-cheek physics-based simulation game. The client wanted to build momentum ahead of launch and then extend that visibility into the Steam release.

The overall goal was to secure authentic creator coverage that would showcase the game’s zany mechanics, drive audience engagement, and amplify awareness across Twitch and YouTube. The campaign needed to energize players both before and during release to ensure lasting impact.

Strategic Approach

We identified engaged creators on Twitch and YouTube to collaborate with from the campaign's start through its launch. Our team managed all influencer outreach as well as Bossa’s in-house champions program. This approach ensured consistent coverage and strong creator relationships throughout the process.

To keep content fresh and engaging, we organized activations that leaned into the game’s quirky personality. One highlight was a Daredrop campaign that challenged influencers to complete in-game dares live on stream. This playful approach provided audiences with unpredictable content while showcasing the humor and physics-driven chaos of Surgeon Simulator 2.

Results

The campaign generated over 100 pieces of influencer content across Twitch and YouTube. Creators streamed over 226 hours of gameplay and completed 103 dares through Daredrop activations, which added humor and variety that resonated with audiences.

This volume of content gave the game strong visibility during its launch window. By partnering with trusted creators and introducing playful activations, the campaign amplified excitement and expanded the game’s reach to new audiences.
