Below the Stone — 1.0 Launch This Summer!

Developer Strollart’s pixelized extraction roguelike, Below the Stone, will exfiltrate from Steam Early Access this summer! The latest gameplay trailer gives a glimpse of the high-stakes, short-statured chaos that unfolds as its dwarven heroes mine their way toward riches.

Players have enjoyed Below the Stone’s punishing yet rewarding gameplay that’s continued to evolve since its Early Access launch in November 2023. They’ve plunged through the depths in search of rare treasures and conquered challenging quests, experienced new underground biomes lush with loot (and threats), faced beard-scalping goblins, and met unique characters in the Dwarven Kingdom.

Littlelands — Demo Launching May 4, 2026!

Developers Rafael Martin and Kyle Creamer invite players to plant their roots and start bearing fruit in the first demo for the adorable, cozy farming adventure life-sim, Littlelands, releasing May 4, 2026, on Steam!

‍

Littlelands is set in a charming world filled with big-headed characters and vibrant, claymation-like landscapes. In the upcoming demo, real-world short kings, tiny queens, and mini majesties alike can experience a slice of life in the Littlelands, exploring its mysterious nooks and crannies as they get to know and help the region's quirky inhabitants. Players can do what they please: grow berries, hunt for treasure, fish, or just sit on a wooden bench and watch the sunset!

The demo, clocking in at around two hours, features six unique areas, multiple shops, 20 NPCs to interact with, a selection of tools to unlock, and seven enemy types for aspiring adventurers to wack.

LUCID — Launching This Summer on PC!

An all-new gameplay trailer for Eric Manahan (solo developer of The Matte Black Studio)’s 2D crystal-punk action-platformer RPG, LUCID, is here. The vibes are immaculate.

Bound by a promise, LUCID protagonist Oenn is a young Sentinel who ventures into a crystal-punk world shattered by catastrophe. Along the journey, Oenn absorbs powerful abilities that sharpen movement and amplify combat, opening new ways to explore and strike against enemies and towering bosses.

Inspired by the golden age of 2D sidescrollers, LUCID captures the spirit of classic platformers and elevates with modern design. The result is fast, action-driven gameplay wrapped in a rich and memorable narrative. But don’t just take our word for it; LUCID’s three-hour demo is available on Windows PC via Steam. Vexlands — Launching This Summer on PC and Consoles + Demo Launch!

Apogee’s upcoming “cell-based” survival crafting adventure game, Vexlands, is so expansive and fantastical that it deserves two new trailers! Players won’t have to wait long, as Vexlands is set for release this summer on PC and — newly announced — on consoles (with port co-publishing by Atari)! An all-new feature-rich demo is also available to download right now on Steam.

Set in a world composed of mysterious, shrouded cells that impede progress, Vexlands tasks players with teaming up with friends to cleanse its cursed lands. Together, they’ll go on exciting adventures, build out their village, and discover perilous dungeons. Discoveries lead to riches, and riches lead to coins, which unlock new cells — paving the way for even more discoveries and unique biomes. Crafting is also a core pillar of Vexlands; resources found on adventures can be used to craft tools, buildings, and defenses for both player characters and their home village.

Vexlands will launch on Windows PC and consoles this summer. Additional platforms and details will be revealed soon.
