The age of mages is fading...what few remain hold the line between Terrabruma and Chaos. In this retro-style FPS with a magical twist, players will join their ranks and track down Chaos at its source. Armed with an arsenal of maces, wands, spells, and other magic items, players will battle through the world of Terrabruma in a dynamic blend of modern gameplay and classic ‘90s shooters. Players will explore medieval and fantasy settings, fighting traditional sword-and-sorcery enemies like goblins, skeletons, and ghosts. This mystical setting gives Wizordum a distinct identity among retro-inspired shooters.
The weapons of Wizordum each come with unique upgrades that diversify gameplay, and many of them offer secondary attacks. Players can combine powerful attacks, freeze enemies, set them on fire, or strike them with chains of lightning. They’ll additionally solve puzzles and must avoid traps to progress and uncover hidden secrets. With a secret treasure in every level and secret levels to discover, there’s a host of content for players to explore.

Wizordum Key Features:
- Kill Chaos: Embark on a single-player campaign to find the source of Chaos, traveling from the Town of Grimbrook through swamps, over the snowy mountains, and beyond
- Only the Strongest “Potions”: A vast arsenal of magic weapons & items to discover and utilize
- Ponder Deez Orbz: Search for secret places filled with treasures, solve puzzles, and avoid traps
- Try Hard: Collect bonus items and beat the hardest difficulty levels to climb to the top of the leaderboards
- You Shall Pass: Compete online for the best time
- Magic Manifest: Create and share custom levels, all from inside the game
Leveraging Atari’s expertise in porting and publishing, Infogrames and Apogee’s partnership aims to bring multiple Apogee titles to modern consoles in both digital and physical formats. Wizordum is the first title in this initiative, setting the stage for future releases; additional games from Apogee’s catalog are already in the pipeline, with announcements to come.

“Our team is excited to join forces with Infogrames to bring the world of Wizordum and more of our titles to console players around the world,” said Scott Miller, CEO of Apogee Entertainment. “This partnership unlocks fresh opportunities to reach new audiences and platforms, introducing our games to a passionate community of console gamers. We're pumped to share even more of our upcoming titles under this expanded reach.”
In addition to releasing on consoles, Wizordum has also been ported to macOS. Apogee Entertainment partnered with Olde Sküül — a computer game development and publishing company founded by industry veterans Rebecca Heineman, Jennell Jaquays, and Maurine Starkey — to bring the title to Mac computers.

Wizordum is available now for $19.99 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, and Series X|S. It is additionally available on Windows PC and macOS via Steam and GOG.
