The Plant-Based Life Foundation is a nonprofit that helps individuals adopt a plant-centered diet through free resources and paid courses. Email marketing plays a critical role in their growth strategy, helping nurture leads and engage program participants.
The nonprofit partnered with UberStrategist to manage and streamline its email program. The goal was to maintain consistent outreach to their large subscriber base while also handling more personalized communication with customers enrolled in paid offerings.
Strategic Approach
UberStrategist collaborated closely with the Foundation’s leadership to build a clear system for managing all aspects of email marketing. This included writing, scheduling, and sending newsletters, setting up automated campaigns, and managing contact segmentation tied to behavior and purchases.
We also provided direct support by managing e-commerce tagging, coordinating course-related messaging, and handling customer service inquiries —ensuring every contact point reflected the Foundation’s mission and brand voice.
Results
Over the course of two years, we helped nurture and engage a community of more than 32,000 email subscribers. Regular newsletters kept readers informed and inspired, while automated sequences guided leads through free and paid offerings.
Our support enabled personalized outreach to customers across four different courses in order to improve the experience and strengthen conversion opportunities. With a fully managed email system in place, the Foundation could focus on its core mission, confident that its digital communications were in expert hands.
