Challenges & Goals

The International Game Developers Association Foundation (IGDA-F) is a nonprofit that empowers individuals from marginalized backgrounds to succeed in the gaming industry. As the organization prepared to promote its Virtual Exchange Program, it needed a clear, compelling way to communicate its impact to donors.

IGDA-F partnered with UberStrategist to refine its messaging, elevate its brand presentation, and build assets that would support donor outreach and fundraising efforts.

Strategic Approach

Our team began by immersing ourselves in IGDA-F’s mission, voice, and goals to ensure alignment across all messaging and design work. We collaborated with their leadership to shape an updated narrative that would resonate with both individual supporters and large donors.

We then created a clean, modern one-sheet designed to educate potential donors on IGDA-F’s programming. We also reimagined their annual Impact Report as a fully-branded, 18-page presentation to showcase measurable results and long-term vision.

Results

The new one-sheet gave IGDA-F a quick, easy-to-share tool to communicate their value at a glance—perfect for events, meetings, and digital outreach. The redesigned Impact Report offered a polished, professional presentation that helped support conversations with high-value donors.

Together, these assets provided IGDA-F with a cohesive and impactful fundraising toolkit that would position the nonprofit for greater visibility and continued growth in its mission. The team expressed strong satisfaction with the outcome, citing the work as a valuable step forward in reaching both new and existing donors.
